The challenge

The product needed to connect migrant flex workers with employers while coordinating jobs, applications, housing, communication, documents, verification, and staffing data across worker and manager experiences.

Engineering approach

  1. Contributed across both worker and manager journeys using Django REST Framework, React, TypeScript, Redux, and Mantine UI.
  2. Delivered jobs, applications, housing reservations, messaging, candidate controls, CV upload, and application analytics workflows.
  3. Added asynchronous AI-assisted CV parsing within a stack that included Celery, OpenAI, and Pydantic AI.
  4. Connected the platform with staffing, identity-verification, document-signing, search, and notification services.
  5. Worked with a delivery stack that also included PostgreSQL, Redis, WebSockets, Docker, Sentry, PostHog, and progressive web-app technologies.
